Shipping & Returns

RETURN POLICY: 

JFL Diamonds & Timepieces understands that buying jewelry or luxury watches on the internet is not easy and that sometimes you may not be satisfied with the purchase. For that reason, we offer a 14-day return policy from the date of delivery on all items.

In order to proceed with a return, please log into your account on the website. From there, you will see your purchase history and you would be able to start a return request. Once the return request has been submitted, we will send you an email with detailed return instructions.

If you did not set up an account at checkout, you may create an account using the original email address used on the order. Once the account has been created, your order history should be populated at that time. If you are having trouble finding your order or starting a return request, please contact our customer service team immediately.

All return shipments MUST be post marked by the 5th business day of the return acceptance. Any return post marked after the allotted time frame, the return may be rejected and shipped back to you at your cost. Any costs incurred for return shipments are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please be sure to insure the package for their full value as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Upon receipt, all items will undergo a detailed and thorough inspection to ensure the following:

- Item(s) must be returned in the original condition in which it was sold
- Item(s) must be free of scratches, marks, blemishes, or any other damages
- All tags, including tampering / non-removable tags, MUST be attached to the item(s)
- All branded accessories, including but not limited to: Presentation Box, Polishing Cloth, and Appraisal Paperwork, must be sent back.
- Item(s) must not have been altered, adjusted in length or sizes by JFL Diamonds & Timepieces (per customer’s request) or any other jeweler. 

If any of the above criteria are not met, there would be a restocking fee applied to the refund. All restocking fees are assessed based on a case by case basis.

It is essential that all orders returned must have a return request opened prior to shipment. If a return request has not been submitted and an order has been shipped back without an RMA number, will delay the return process.

Disclaimers:

* Any expedited shipping fees paid at the time of the order are not refundable. Those fees are used to pay the courier for their services and cannot be refunded.

** Any orders that used AfterPay or Klarna at checkout will have an automatic 10% service fee deducted from the refund total.

*** Any orders that used PayPal at checkout will have an automatic 5% service fee deducted from the refund total.

**** Once an order has been placed and you would like to cancel it prior to shipment, a 10% service fee will be deducted from the refund, as processing fees are not refundable.

***** JFL Diamonds & Timepieces reserves the right to reject or deny any returned items that do not follow the required conditions listed above. These rejected returns will be shipped back to the customer at the buyer’s expense.

EXCHANGE POLICY: 

You may exchange your purchased item within 14 days of purchase to any item you like.

If the item, you are exchanging to:

- Costs more than the originally purchased item, you would need to cover the difference.
- Costs are less than the originally purchased item, the difference will be issued as a store credit. Store credits will not expire and can be used for any merchandise from our store.

Your exchange must follow the same criteria as a return and a request must be sent via the return request form from your purchase history. There will be a minimum of a $10 shipping fee applied to all exchanges to cover shipping costs of the exchanged item.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

If you would like to cancel an order, please contact our Customer Service Team immediately. If the order is already in process of being shipped, we will not be able to cancel the order.

All cancelled orders are subject to a 10% service fee that would be deducted from the order total. These fees are to cover the processing fees that are not refundable.

If your order was not approved by our securities team, you will receive an email and the order will be cancelled immediately.

JFL Diamonds & Timepieces reserves the right to cancel any order. This includes, but is not limited to, any pricing or other errors on the item(s) purchased.

SHIPPING POLICY:

Handling Time:

We, at JFL Diamonds & Timepieces, understand how important it is to receive your purchased items on time, in a safe, and secure manner. Hence, all of our orders ship within 24 to 48 business hours after the payment has cleared and confirmed. Additional processing time may be required if there are any alteration or customization requests made by the customer or if the order is shipping to an international address.

The handling and processing times are not calculated in the transit time when upgrading to any expedited shipping method. For example, if the 2nd Day shipping option is chosen for an order that transit time starts after the order has been processed and shipped.

Address Changes:

Due to regulations set by our payment processors, we are unable to change the shipping address once the order has been received.

Security Protocol:

For the safety and security of the card holder and our company, all orders paid using a credit card are vetted and put through a security check once an order has been placed. This process is handled by our securities team and processing maybe delayed for higher valued orders.

Tracking & Insurance:

Packages valued above $500 will require a signature upon delivery. All orders come with a valid tracking number and will be sent to you via email once the shipping label has been generated.

All orders are shipped with full transit insurance and free of charge. This insurance covers the package from any damage or loss while in transit to the address provided. JFL Diamonds & Timepieces cannot be held liable for packages stolen or missing from mailboxes or left at the front door.

Shipping Options:

Domestic Shipments (within United States):

Below are the shipping charges as applicable to items being shipped anywhere within the United States:

1. USPS First Class Mail: Free of Charge

- This service is offered to all customers at no charge. This option has a transit time of 3 to 5 business days from the time of shipment, barring any delays within USPS or acts of god.

- Signature upon delivery may be required depending on the value of the order.

2. USPS Priority Mail: $10

- This service has a transit time of 2 to 3 business days from the time of shipment, barring any delays within USPS or acts of god.

- Signature upon delivery may be required depending on the value of the order.

3. FedEx 2nd Day: $30

- This service has a transit time of 2 business days, not including weekends and holidays, barring any delays within FedEx or acts of god.
- Direct Signature will be required for this service.

4. FedEx Overnight: $45

- This service is guaranteed to be delivered the next business day, not including weekends and holidays, barring any delays within FedEx or acts of god.
- Direct Signature will be required for this service.
- For Saturday delivery options, there would be an additional $30 fee. Please contact our customer service team to inquire about this option.

International Shipments (Outside of United States):

Below are the shipping charges as applicable to items being shipped outside the United States:

1. USPS Express Mail International: $50

- This service is shipped via USPS and will be delivered to the recipient by their local postal service.
- This service usually takes 5 to 7 business days to reach the destination country. Once in the destination country, delivery times may vary based on the recipients Customs Department.

2. FedEx International Economy: $80

- This service is shipped via FedEx and will also be delivered to the recipient by FedEx.
- This service usually takes 6 to 8 business days to be delivered to the recipient. This transit time includes customs clearance.
- A Direct signature will be required upon delivery.

Customs Fees & VAT Taxes:

All orders shipped outside the United States will be subject to customs fees and VAT taxes by the customs office upon delivery. Each country has their own tax rates and fees, please consult your country’s customs department for more details.

The buyer is responsible for all customs fees and VAT taxes incurred upon delivery. These fees and taxes are not imposed by JFL Diamonds & Timepieces, rather imposed by the recipient’s country. These fees are not refundable by us in case of returns.

JFL Diamonds & Timepieces is not responsible for these fees and taxes charged by the country. The customs department will contact the recipient independently for the fees and taxes owed prior to delivery.

Please Note:

* Depending on the Regulations and Policies of your country, Express Mail International may not be an option and may only allow First Class International Mail.
** Some countries do not allow imports of jewelry, watches, precious metals, or diamonds. If we are unable to ship to your country, we will contact you via email. JFL Diamonds & Timepieces reserves the right to deny any order if the customs of the recipient’s country do not allow jewelry or watches to be imported.

Disclaimers:

* JFL Diamonds & Timepieces reserves the right to cancel orders containing pricing errors, with no obligation to the customer, even after receiving an order or shipping confirmation notice from us. We may, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation

** Any orders that are not approved by our security protocol will be cancelled and the customer will be informed via email. These security assessments are done independently of JFL Diamonds & Timepieces. For the security of the cardholder and our company, orders may be cancelled and refunded without prior notice.
